In November 2023, the "Zhejiang Engineering Research Center for Interventional Medicine Engineering and Biotechnology," led by Ji Jiansong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Lishui Central Hospital, received official approval. This marks the first provincial-level engineering research center within the city’s healthcare system and the second provincial-level scientific and technological innovation platform granted to Lishui Central Hospital—following the approval of the Zhejiang Key Laboratory of Imaging Diagnosis and Minimally Invasive Interventional Research. This milestone signifies the successful establishment of a comprehensive medical science and technology innovation system at the hospital, encompassing both basic and translational research. It holds substantial significance for advancing the city's healthcare services and promoting the development of the life and health industries.
